LAWA (which is the acronym of Leonard Alain and Wank Alex) new album entitled „The Parallax View“ (Cine 23) will be released later 2020 is honoring various scores and composers from Italy and France. This track is the title track of „2019: After the Fall of New York aka Fireflash“ by Guido & Maurizio de Angelis, a score which was never released so far in any form. As the title track is never played to the end in the film LAWA continued in their own way to finish the track as it could be. In other words it starts as a „Cover“ and develops to their very own.
Nevertheless a fantastic and different score by the De Angelis brothers which has to get rediscovered and released!!!

SOSPETTO “Il Sonno Eterno” (Cine 19) out October 31st
With its fourth full-length album, Sospetto – aka Christian Rzechak, also the man behind Cineploit recording artist Pan/Scan – discovers a different course to take through the world of cinematic music. After journeying through numerous genres on previous releases Sospetto’s new output branches out into virgin territory: melodic themes wrap the listener in a web of sound, repetitive hypnotic rhythms lull you into a somnambulant, mysterious state of mind. These eleven tracks tell the story of the various levels of consciousness triggered by insomnia. We accompany a young woman (singer Christine Marks, whose voice is the main focus of the album) on her lustful and suffering journey, a story that ends in the pyrrhic redemption of eternal sleep. In contrast to earlier records there is little horror or Giallo-themed music. Nevertheless, the typical Sospetto style can be heard in every moment. Acoustic suspense for an existential drama. Romantic, eerie and terrifying. Sospetto is beckoning you to the land of slumber…

On its fifth release Thelema – aka sonic alchemist Hans Jürgen – continues the journey into cinematic soundscapes developed over the past decade-plus. Hypnotic harmonies combine with organic sounds from other worlds to create something akin to both Angelo Badalamenti’s Twin Peaks soundtracks and heavy, melancholy trip-hop. This new album features more prominent usage of vocals than on previous records, with a musical backdrop based around drums, violins and keyboards generating a haunting, mesmerizing atmosphere. Let Thelema guide you through this adventure of the senses, a perfect soundtrack for your autumn and winter listening pleasure!

5 Years Cineploit – a Tribute to Maestro Morricone
Today is the birthday of a Genius and probably one of the best Composer´s alive – ENNIO MORRICONE! Congratulations from our side to his 88th birthday and we really hope for many many more!
Now as CINEPLOIT is celebrating next year it´s 5th anniversary I thougth about doing a very special release for that reason – just the common link I wasn´t sure of. When I thought more about it one thing was crystal clear – Ennio Morricone is probably the one influenced all of us in one or another way. And all of us love his music!
The suggestion to do an Morricone Tribute by all of Cineploit´s Artists was well received and so we want to announce a wonderful project – Cineploit pays Tribute to the Maestro!
Stay tuned as we will announce every now & then who appears with which track plus we do have something very special in preparation for this release!
August 12th Releasedate for PAN/SCAN (Cine 17) & VIDEOGRAM (Exploit 10)
PAN/SCAN “Cinematic Lies” (Cine 17)
Part movie score, part library music, part accoustic sculptures: the debut album “Cinematic Lies” from PAN/SCAN is a trip into the wide world of soundtrack music, evoking many different scenes and set pieces. From furious action to nightmarish horror, from zombiesque soundscapes to the opening credits of a fictional serial, there’re all varieties of cinematic music represented, most of them with a delightful touch of the 80s. Hardly a reminiscence you can’t find on this longplayer. PAN/SCAN took a deep musical bow to many iconic composers like John Carpenter, Christopher Young, Tangerine Dream, Goblin or Fabio Frizzi.
This will be a 180g Vinyl available as LP/CD Set, 500 ltd. Edition in total, 250 black Vinyl, 250 black & blue A/B Side mixed color (only available from Cineploit direct), all housed in polylined Innersleeves.
VIDEOGRAM “Gladiatori dell´Apocalisse” Gatefold MLP (Exploit 10)
Hot on the heels of the well-received “Camp Blood” 10″ picture disc, Magnus Sellergren, aka Videogram, set out to expand his sounds with the Italian-titled eight-track post-apocalyptic EP “Gladiatori dell’Apocalisse”. Intended as a mini-soundtrack for an imaginary 1980’s genre effort, Videogram drew inspiration from such vast and varied sources as Goblin’s “Buio Omega”, Paul Hardcastle, Claudio Simonetti’s solo soundtrack work of the 1980’s, novelty disco tracks and Piero Umiliani; effortlessly blending them together to create a sound that is truly his own. Not the first effort on this genre (post-apocalyptic tracks appeared on both his “S/T” digital debut and “Pre-Cert” on Cineploit), this all-new EP sees a technical and compositional growth from the artist, creating a new and exciting path for soundtrack-influenced music! If you’re into dark and interesting synth wave, check Videogram out. Inspired by ’80s post-apocalyptic and exploitation films, this music perfectly personifies the glory of analogue action and horror. I’m a fan of Videogram for life…and beyond! – david j. moore, author of WORLD GONE WILD: A SURVIVOR’S GUIDE TO POST-APOCALYPTIC MOVIES and THE GOOD, THE TOUGH, AND THE DEADLY: ACTION MOVIES AND STARS.
This 8 Track Mini-LP will be housed in a wonderful stylish Gatefold sleeve and on 180g Splatter Vinyl housed in polylined Innersleeves. Ltd. Edition of 500 copies, no CD!
